This seems to affect Firefox, maybe others as well but that's what I use it with. I have a particular Firefox profile running some server interfaces that I usually keep in the system tray. With 9.9 the trigger to minimize the window worked fine and I got one icon, but in 10.0 it is adding an extra duplicate non-clickable icon each time I minimize the window. I can exit DisplayFusion to remove the excess icons.
I tested this out on my end but I couldn't seem to reproduce it. Could you send me over a video of the issue happening?

For some reason, when I try and record a video with SnagIt, the Firefox window will not minimize to the system tray at all. It seems to be interfering with DisplayFusion somehow. I have attached an image of the trigger details instead along with before and after system tray images.
From a fresh restart of DisplayFusion where Firefox is not minimized, if I minimize the window once I get two icons appearing. One is clickable and restores the window, the other is not clickable. Minimizing a second time creates a second unclickable icon to make three in total.

Unfortunately not, just tried it. Firefox minimizing to system tray still generates an extra unclickable item every time the trigger is called.
What version of Firefox are you running?

I currently have Firefox 111.0, 64-bit. This is on Windows 10 21H2.
We have some changes coming in our next beta that might fix this up, so we'll let you know once it's released to try out.
Thanks!
We've released a new beta with some changes that might help here, can you try it out and let me know if the issue persists?

So far it looks to be fixed in beta 3, thanks. If it re-occurs I will post back.
