I very often use Skype in busy mode and have noticed this very minor glitch with the system tray icon, only on the DisplayFusion taskbar.

Left is the DisplayFusion and right is the Windows taskbar. Never happens on the Windows taskbar so I'm not sure what's causing it.

EDIT: To clarify, I'm using Windows 10 and this is the "Skype for Windows" version, not the Microsoft Store version.

I can't seem to reproduce that issue here. Could you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info?

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Sorry but I've just discovered this has nothing at all to do with the 'do not disturb' status on Skype. It happens with all three status modes (active, do not disturb, invisible).

I've noticed that whenever I change status, it will have the regular icon and approximately 50-60 seconds later it will "break" with a line through it as seen in the original screenshot.

Is DisplayFusion doing some kind of refresh of these icons at certain intervals? Seems strange that it displays the correct icon initially but then somehow breaks a minute later.

Ok, thanks, I will re-test here and see what I can find out.

I was able to reproduce this here now, and I've added it to our list to see if we can fix it up. I'm not 100% sure if we can, but we will let you know if we are able to :)

Thanks!
