I have two monitors with df running from steam. I've noticed that some icons in the taskbar area will display a broken/missing icon image on the main monitor, however if i move the window to the second monitor the image appears as normal. I've tried googling solutions however the solutions i've seen seem to relate more to a single monitor (at least no mention of df causing the problem), and none of the solutions have worked. which leads me to believe it may be caused by df?

any ideas?

That's strange! Could you attach a screenshot the next time it occurs?

Thanks!

purely as an example, this is the battle.net launcher. it also seems to happen with auslogics disk defrag that i know of. first pic shows the launcher on my main monitor with the broken icon link, second pic is on the second monitor where it appears normally.

Ok, and if you exit DisplayFusion, does the taskbar button work correctly on the left monitor?

hmm ok, so exiting df does not fix the problem, the icons are still missing their image. there goes that theory...

Ok, glad to hear it's not DisplayFusion causing the issue :)

You can try clearing the icon cache to see if that helps at all: http://superuser.com/questions/499078/refresh-icon-cache-without-rebooting

Other than that, I'm not sure what could be causing the issue.

Hope that helps!
