Out of the blue this morning DF started behaving strangely. When I move from monitor A to monitor B the brightness of monitor A is reduced about 20-30% and monitor B is changed to full brightness. The reverse happens when moving from B to A. There is some DF setting that causes this brightness toggle because the behavior goes away when I stop DF. A reboot did not help. I did use TeamViewer to access my PC from my laptop just prior to starting working on the actual PC. I have been running 9.7.1 Beta4 since 8/19/20.

Hello,

It sounds like monitor fading may be enabled. If you open up Display Fusion Settings and head to the Monitor Fading tab, is the "Enable Monitor Fading" box checked off?

Thanks!

Hi Owen,

Yes, that did the trick. I just don't understand how that flag was turned on the first place. I had been running v9.7.1 Beta4 for a month now. I did not realize that there was a separate TAB for Monitor Fading. What I did notice is that when I clicked the Monitor Configuration button in the upper right corner of the Settings window, the resulting screen did have a Monitor Fading option, which I toggled without any change. I am all set. Thank you for your help.
