I was wondering if you could add an option for Monitor Fading.

Have it so that the primary monitor never fades out but non-primary monitors fade in/out based on mouse cursour location/active window.

i.e. when moving mouse/alt tabbing over to another monitor/window on non-primary monitor it would fade in/out the entire monitor on getting/losing focus, but never fading the primary monitor.

Effectively combining Non-Primary with Non-Current rules, getting best of both worlds with QoL automation.

This is currently on our feature request list, so I've added your vote to it. We'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement it in the future.

Thanks!

Sorry to bring up this old thread but I am a new user who is interested in this as well. Was it ever implemented?

Hello,

It's not something we've added yet.

Sorry!

I have and use up to 6 monitors and a pretty big flat screen throughout each day, both professionally and recreationally. So the # of displays I'll be using at different parts of the day can and typically does fluctuate greatly. I was looking for ideas/help using the monitor fading function and found this thread. If I'm understanding him he's wanting what I've been looking/wishing for. Per monitor functionality with "if this then that" capabilities. If I'm making sense and it's doable, is it basically what Joigeit is looking for?

Yep that sounds about right. We haven't added this in, but we do still have it open on our feature request list so I've added your vote to it.

Thanks!
