I'm having a problem where in some circumstances DisplayFusion thinks that monitors have different numbers than what they actually have. This causes the monitor positions to be completely wrong when I load the profile.

Attached are some screenshots of the monitor numbers in both Nvidia Control Panel and DisplayFusion.
In the first screenshot, all the numbers match. In the second screenshot, I set two of the monitors to be cloned, and the numbers are incorrect in DisplayFusion.

How do the monitor numbers compare to the Windows Screen Resolution settings?

In the windows settings the numbers are the same as in Nvidia Control Panel.

Ok, if you duplicate the monitors using the Windows settings instead of the DisplayFusion Monitor Configuration, how do the monitor IDs look in DisplayFusion after that? Are they still mismatched? Just wondering if it's an issue with the way we're getting the IDs, or with how we're enabling the monitors.

Yes, it is still mismatched. The monitors only get cloned correctly if I don't use DisplayFusion. If I use DisplayFusion to clone a monitor, the monitor arrangement is completely wrong afterward.

Ok, thanks! I'll need to do some testing here to see if I can reproduce the same results. Are all four monitors connected to the same video card? I think so, based on your screenshots, but just wanted to confirm that there aren't any connected via USB display adapters.

Yes, all displays are connected to the same video card.

Sorry for the delay on this! I'm going to need to reproduce this issue here in order for us to be able to fix it up. I've got a test machine that I'm going to test a bunch of different configurations with, so we'll see what I can come up with. I will post an update when I do have more news.

Thanks!

I've done some testing here and haven't been able to reproduce this issue. Are you still having this problem with the latest NVIDIA drivers installed?

We've just released DisplayFusion 9.2 Beta 2, and it should hopefully fix up the issues you were running into. Note that you should overwrite or save new versions of your Monitor Profiles after updating. Please let us know how it works out when you've had a chance to give it a go.

Thanks!
