Is it possible to have a notification of what monitor profile I switched to after I use my hotkey? And a hotkey to show me what profile I am currently in?
At the moment I have it set to rotate through the profiles by alphabetical order. The only problem is that I have multiple monitors and they are not always on so sometimes I'm in one profile and when I switch I don't know what the next one is or the one I'm currently in.
I've searched the forums and couldn't find anything. This would be a huge help. Love your program, but this would just be a bonus and save me a few clicks (they add up).
If there is a script for this I can handle that too.
Thanks !
You should be seeing a desktop notification when you manually load a monitor profile. What version of Windows and DisplayFusion are you using? Thanks!

I'm currently away from my computer and won't be able to try this till tomorrow.
Just don't want you to close the thread before I get a chance to this.
Have a great weekend!

So sorry for the late reply.
The beta didn't help me out either.
Anything you could do would be a great help. Thanks a ton.
And I apologize for the late reply. I wasn't getting notifications.
No worries! Which version of Windows are you running?
Ok, which build number? You can check it by doing Start > Run > winver
If you download and run a scripted function (Settings > Functions > Download Scripted), do you get a notification when the script runs? Just wondering if maybe all notifications are broken, or if it's just the Monitor Profile notification.

I downloaded a function to move all visible windows to monitor. I ran it and I got a notification.
Never knew those scripted functions existed. That's pretty awesome. This is such a great program.
Screenshot 3 is the downloaded script.
Screenshot 4 is a built-in option
Only time I don't see a notification from displayfusion is when I switch the monitor profile.
If I'm missing something somewhere tell me where to look and I will.
Thanks for sticking with me through this.
Also is there any way to get email notifications for these discussions? I don't get them. I check my spam folder as well and nothing. I'd respond faster if I didn't have to remember to check back here.

So I loaded the custom script and it will notify me if I run it manually from the custom script dialog. However in real usage it does not work and does not notify me. For instance if I used my hotkeys now, no dialog box would pop up. I tried with another command and it does notify me.
I've attached photos of this.
It seems like switching between monitors is just not something that wants to notify the user. I really don't have another computer to try this on. So I don't know what to do.
Thanks for your help

It looks like there isn't a key combination assigned to that Scripted Function. Can you try assigning a key combination to it and then use that key combination instead of the normal one for next monitor profile?

Thanks for sticking with me.
Followed your instructions and added a hotkey, and what do you know, it works.
Thanks a ton.
I'll include a photo for you to see as well. Do you think it will every be able to see it as a notification like the other notifications in the bottom right of my screen?
Thanks a ton.
