I just purchased the pro version now thinking it would solve my issue. I have 7 monitors. I use 4 at one time. I Made my monitor profiles and was able to switch from one profile to the other. However, it did not work switching back. What did seem to work was disabling one monitor (in Windows) and then trying to profile switch...although that's still a hassle.I even turned off HDR in windows (only 3/7 have HDR) to see if that would help after looking through the forums. I can attach the troubleshooting log if needed. Also tried setting everything up in Windows and then making a profile in DP, and doing the same with the second profile with no luck. I don't know why it worked that one time from profile 1> 2 but won't go back from 2>1. And even now it won't go from 1>2.despit not changing anything. The wall paper of monitor 4 does change ( as I made wall paper profiles as well) but the other 3 stay connected, but black backgrounds, which makes me thing it "thinks" it switched" but actually didnt. Let me know what you need from me. Thanks!

Just quick update. I disabled the 4th monitor(TV) on both profiles and it works fine. As soon as I add the 4th monitor it no longer works ( but thinks it does). I think it's an issue of assigning the primary monitor or something. The 4th(which is the same TV) on in BOTH profiles are NOT set as primary ( nor do I want that)
We have a fix for a similar issue coming in the next beta. I'll follow-up as soon as it's available to try out!

Hey there, so it does work better, however - there is still some issue with the primary monitor. Unforunately it defaults to the wrong primary monitor, I tried twice. I've added the log. Essentially the switch from profile 2>1 worked correctly both times. The switch from profile 1>2 did not work as intended both times ( although much better this time around) - the monitors were all on, however the orientation and the primary monitor was wrong.
Thanks for your hard work and happy holidays

Doing this in real time now. Uninstalled all versions installed.
Fresh install of V11.0 BETA 2
Logging has been set to L1: Minimal
Set up Monitor profiles, wallpaper and audio devices for each profile and named them all.
Currently on "Gaming Rig" Progile as of 2:10 EST. Switching to "Simrig" and will post log regardless of if it works or not.
2:14PM Wall papers and monitors were correct, however wrong Primary monitor ( again) - no audio options (at all) Windows no longer detects ANY output device ( I have 4 connected usually not including monitor audio) attaching the log.

Thanks! There are some errors the log that I'm going to pass on to our developers to take a look at. We'll post an update here when we have more news.

Tried it. Best update yet. Almost everything works (I tried about 4 times swsitching between both). there are still some bugs ( infinite looping/stuck picking monitors). But mostly it works..the biggest issue which I'm having is that the main monitor isn't correct. This is important because the config files in triple screen games use the main monitor as a reference so I have to manually switch it. The odd thing is that the in the monitor config screen, once I switch monitors, it detects the profile.

Hi [please say if this shoould be a new issue]
I downloaded the beta 3 and now switching monitor profiles flicks back and forth twice before reverting to the original boot config. No opportunity to click yes/accept. I'm running 7 monitors (3xgpu, 4xusb).
Any tips appreciated!

Same thing. Monitors are correct, the primary monitor is never set to the right one no matter how many times I save the profile. The odd thing is that displaymagician does it without fail everytime perfectly.
We've made some more changes to our next beta, we'll let you know once it's released to try out.
Thanks!
We've released a new beta with some more changes, can you try it out and let me know if the issue persists?

Hi first impressions are pretty good - have hotkeys set on my streamdeck to switch monitor configs and all seems to be working smoothly.
I know you can make changes to switch off the confirmation popup box, but may I request that this be made easier in the gui if preferred? Thanks!

Similar thing. Everything worked on switch, but wrong primary monitor, even after making the profiles brand new. IF you want the logs let me know. Thank you
Could you send me an updated log from beta 5?

Here's the log. I'll also upload some screenshots in order of the switching. This was around 10:15 EST.
When in the monitor config window, the "Gaming rig profile" is detected. (pic 1)
When switching, the monitors switch and wall papers switch ( in correct positions) how ever primary monitor is wrong ( pic 3). The profile is NOT detected.
I switch primary monitor manually ( pic 4) and profile is now detected.
I switch back to gaming rig (pic 5) wrong primary - profile not detected, however correct monitors, correct wall paper order and correct audio devices
Once I change primary monitor manually, profile now detected ( pic 6 - same as pic 1).

Exact same result, no change. Wrong Primary monitor.
However I tried picking the same profile a second time in a row and it seems to switch to the correct primary monitor. The first selection of setup "A" picks the right monitors, wrong primary, second time at selecting "A" it switches to the correct monitor (primary)

Since upgrading to Windows 11 24H2 the monitor profile switch is not working as expected anymore.
Running latest beta with 3 Monitors, NVidia 4080.
I have 2 Monitor Profiles (monitor 1 & Monitor 2/3).
Switching to monitor 1 always works, but switching back kills my created profile.
I always have to set my monitor config in the windows dialogue, and then save it again in Displayfusion.
This works, until switching the monitors.
There really seems to be some strange behaviour with Windows 11 24H2.

hi, its been working pretty good but beta 9 isnt maintaining monitor locations after boot, or moving them to a saved profile when selected.
if you drag the monitors to where they should be by hand it will recognise its matching the profile.
(also your troubleshooting tab no longer has an apply button)
