Hi. I'm on Win 7 64-bit. I remember when DF Pro v9.3 first came out, I read that Monitor Profiles were not being recognized. What's the status of this issue? I have 3 different setups, and I figured/hoped that by now, at least a new beta would have been released to address this issue.
When is the next version with a fix anticipated?
Sorry if there are other discussions about this topic, but with 190 pages and search hits relying on Discussion topic headings, getting through all the search results is tedious at best.
Thanks!
We changed the way the Monitor Profiles are saved in the back end. Have you already tried re-saving your Monitor Profiles since updating to 9.3?

Yes, I did re-save the profiles after v9.3 was installed.
Ok, something must have changed with a Windows Update or video card driver update that's making the profile no longer match. If you load an existing profile, then save it (overwriting the existing profile), does it show as detected?

Hi.
I believe there was subsequent discussion about glitchy monitor profiles on a different thread on which I participated. But today, after searching, I see that I never replied on this thread. And I have had continuous issues with DF not detecting/switching monitor profiles. I am now using DF Pro 9.4 (Beta 3). Still on Win 7 64-bit.
I have 5 profiles:
Home laptop open (2 external displays and laptop display)
Home (same 2 external displays, laptop closed)
Work laptop open (2 external displays and laptop display)
Work (same 2 external displays, laptop closed)
Laptop (only laptop display)
Lately, each time I switch profiles, I check to see if DF has detected the profile. When it does not, I load the appropriate profile and re-save it.
So, what's the issue? What can I do to troubleshoot?
Thanks!
When you say "Lately, each time I switch profiles, I check to see if DF has detected the profile," how are you switching? Are you loading them via hotkey or the menu?

To check, I verify from the system tray context menu. I expand the Display Fusion > Monitor Profiles menu to see if any profile is selected. If none is selected, I choose the proper one from the DF menu. Then I select the Display Fusion > Monitor Profiles > Create/Edit Monitor Profiles page and click Save Profile.

Hi, Keith.
I've just emailed support with the two log file outputs. Subject name of the email is "BFCustomerTest logs re discussions reply: Monitor Profiles not being detected v9.3".
Please let me know what else I can provide to help troubleshoot this issue.
Thanks!
