This is also happening for me after updating to 11.0.4. My monitor profile hotkey resizes a Firefox window and now it periodically seems to fire off the action at random whether I've pressed the hotkey or not. I've deleted and recreated the window position profile and hotkey and it worked momentarily but has stopped responding again.

If you can help us troubleshoot this hopefully we can get it solved. This is how to enable the logging:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

After you enable the logging try loading the profiles that don't work (maybe a few times) then send in the log. From that we should be able to see what's going on. Thanks!

I have reproduced this issue on version 11.0.4. The time stamp is 5:13PM. I switch from my Desktop profile to Console. It switches successfully. I then try to switch back to my Desktop profile 4 times and it fails each time until I reinstall version 10.1.2. The profile then switches back successfully on attempt #5

I will note that I reinstalled version 11.0.3 on attempt #4 and it also failed. Haven't quite pinned down which version update broken this functionality for me.

We're a bit slow right now over the holidays but in the new year I'll pass this to the developers and we'll see what we can find out for you. Thanks!

Thank you for the information! It looks like this was gathered with 10.1.2 (or at least the debug info was). Would you be able to update to 11.0.5 and reproduce the issue again and send the log and debug info over? Thanks!

We have just released a new test version that we hope will fix this issue. You can download it from here:

https://www.binaryfortress.com/Data/Download/?Package=displayfusion&test-11.0.6=1

Would you be able to install the new version and see if your issue still happens? If the issue still exists can you gather another round of debug info for us using these steps?

- Make sure you're running the new test build
- On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
- Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
- Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
- Reply with the file attached
- Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks for your help with this issue!

We just released a new build today, can you give that a try and let me know how that one works for you? It should show up as 11.0.6-Beta5.

Thanks!
