Is there a way with DF where you can drag a window to the edge of two monitor splits and it will then size the window to take up the area of both splits? I really don't want to add custom function as it would be so much smoother to be able to do that instead.

We currently don't support this, but I've added this to our feature request list. We don't guarantee that feature requests will be implemented, or offer timelines on possible implementation. We'll be sure to let you know if we do add it to our planned features in a future version.
