Ever since I updated Windows 10 to ver 1607, my monitors no longer turn off after the specified duration of inactivity. When I use third party programs to turn off the monitors manually, they turn back on almost immediately. I didn't see this listed in the known issues and I wanted to know if there was a workaround or a setting I could change to restore intended functionality.

i am not having an issue where when i lock my desktop the monitors go to sleep very quickly(i think within a min or so) instead of the screensaver going on at 10min and then monitors going to sleep at 20min.

@Brainiac: If you exit DisplayFusion, do the monitors sleep correctly?

@madlyfe: On the DF Settings > Windows 10 tab, what's the "Lock Screen Timeout" option set to?

oh, its set to 1. should it take my default monitor sleep time? not to be confused with the screensaver time.

The default in Windows 8/10 for the Lock Screen timeout is 1 minute (this is a default set by Windows). You can set it to whatever you like, I have mine set at 15 minutes. This timeout differs from the screen saver timeout, and the regular monitor/system sleep timeouts. It's a bit confusing, but I assume that they added that in so that you can have your monitors sleep right away after locking the workstation, since they assume that you will probably be leaving the computer for a bit anyways.
