I've been using DisplayFusion for about two years for a 3 monitor setup, and have a few profiles saved that I've been using to toggle different layouts.

Some of the Profiles are set to disable certain monitors. However, DisplayFusion no longer seems able to successfully disable monitors. It won't work from the menu popup in the Taskbar to select a different profile, nor will it work if I try to disable it manually in the Profile editor of DisplayFusion.

This has been a problem across at least the latest 2 versions of DisplayFusion, so I'm not sure where to look otherwise. Could it be an issue caused by my video card drivers?

DisplayFusion Pro 11.0.4
Windows 10
NVIDIA GeForce 2080ti w/ latest drivers
2x LG Monitors connected via DPI; TCL TV connected via HDMI

If you use the monitor config window to re-create your profiles and re-save them does that work? It's possible that your profiles are older and don't have the data the new version needs. Recreating the profiles should fix the issue though. Thanks!

Hmm, I have tried this, and settings still don't seem to take after I try to apply. I can't disable any of my monitors -- it prompts me with the "Keep these changes?" dialog, as if a change has been made, but my monitor arrangements stay the same.

I also can't seem to change and save the cloning settings either.

Would you be able to help us troubleshoot this issue in 11.0.4? If so, can you send us a debug log by following these steps?

- On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
- Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
- Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
- Reply with the file attached
- Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Yeah more than happy to help!

At 2:06 PM EST I attempted the following:
- Disable Monitor 2 entirely
- Set Monitor 2 to be a clone of Monitors 1 and 3

Both attempts failed.

Debug log is attached!

Just wanted to comment that I had this same monitor issue when I upgraded to v11, rolled back to 10.x and have been golden since. But it's definitely a thing, I think my main monitor, when I loaded up the profile for all monitors on, got "disabled" somehow and it seemed like I couldn't get it to even come back on, be it through DF or Windows display settings. Uninstalled and reinstalled a 10.x version with the same settings in place and have had 0 issues since.

I also suddenly have this same issue since today. I switch a lot between various Monitor / TV set-ups but DisplayFusion seems unable to Disable or Enable screens via profiles now. Disabling also can't be done via "Monitor Configiration" but Enabeling does still work "manually" there. Let me know if I can help by also sending info.

We're a bit slow right now over the holidays but in the new year I'll pass this to the developers and we'll see what we can find out for you. Thanks!
