Brief adulation of this awesome software (feel free to skip):the more I use displayfusion, the more of its capability I discover. I bought this on steam a few years ago, not entirely even knowing what it did, and boy, now I use this software EVERY DAY. It has been one of the most powerful productivity and QoL tools I have ever purchased. Probably shouldn't say this as a customer, but you could literally double the price of this software and it would still be a steal. Insane that windows can't even come close with its out of the box offerings in comparison to DF.

My most recent discovery on display fusion has been the window movement/monitor closing scripts. I have been loving middle clicking my "maximize window button" and throwing over my current window to a different monitor.

With that all in mind, is there any way I can throw a not full-screen youtube video to another monitor, then have it automatically full-screen (the video itself, not the window)?

I realize that simply full-screening the video then moving the window is an option, but this would save a few clicks.

And if that's possible... is there any way I can do the exact same functionality just on a per tab basis? For example, could I have a YouTube tab within a row of other tabs, press a hotkey, have it move over to my other monitor, and automatically full-screen the video?

Either way, thank you for this amazing software. Lifelong customer for sure!

Hi Matthew,

Thank you very much for the kind words!

Moving non-fullscreen windows to a specific monitor is something you could do using a trigger, but setting it to fullscreen automatically isn't something we support unfortunately.

Sorry!
