I use Display Fusion on my work laptop. When I am at my desk I have two additional monitors hooked up and would like to have applications pinned to those monitors to keep the main taskbar less cluttered. However I frequently remove my laptop from the dock and would like the shortcuts pinned to the secondary taskbars to move to the primary taskbar when no monitors are attached. The order in which they appear on the taskbar is not important, but I do want to retain easy access to my pinned programs when using my laptop off the dock.

This is definitely a great idea, but unfortunately not possible. Windows doesn't allow pinned taskbar items to be created programmatically :(

Relevant paragraph from this MSDN article:
"A small set of applications are pinned by default for new installations. Other than these, only the user can pin further applications; programmatic pinning by an application is not permitted."

Sorry!
