The action to "Move Window to Next Monitor" used to happen instantly with maximized windows. But since version 11.0.0 (and 11.0.2), it became slower.
It seems like rather than just moving the window to the next monitor, it first unmaximized the window, then moves it over, then maximizes it again. This triggers the Windows animations for them each time, resulting in the window getting moved over a lot slower.

This does not affect unmaximized windows, or fullscreen applications.

P.S. disabling Windows animations does not seem to be a workaround.

Thanks for sending that over, we can't seem to reproduce it here. Could you send me a debug log as well? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

I didn't find an apply button, but here is the log.

It happens some time at 9:22 PM Budapest time.

I have attached the log file.
Also I have attached a video to show what I did.

I'm not sure if I downloaded the beta, but by now I have 11.1 installed, and sadly it didn't fix the issue.
