I noticed that this topic has been discussed several times already.
And that it should be possible via the following advanced setting:
----
Settings > Advanced Settings window, put the split ID in the "Taskbar: Windows Taskbar Split Monitor ID" option, then apply the Settings and restart DisplayFusion.
----
However, this does not work for me, I've tried several combinations with all available taskbar settings in DF, but unfortunately so far with no results.
I'm currently trialing DF in Windows 10 Pro, with one UltraWide monitor.
I've divided this monitor into 3 splits -> 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3
I'm using the Windows main taskbar in a vertical manner.
I can move it (via Windows 10) between the far right & left of the monitor.
But I'd like to have it on the middle (small) split, and only there.
But upon entering "1.2" into 'Windows Taskbar Split Monitor ID' and restarting DF, nothing changes, the Windows main taskbar always stays where I put it via Windows itself.
The other advanced settings are working very nicely though!
-> Force Primary Monitor ID: 1.3
-> Ignore Monitors: 102 (but why the weird notation, and not 1.2?)
The placement of the Windows main taskbar is the only dealbreaker left for me.
If that could be fixed, then the trial would definitely be successful for me
Thanks!
