Hello.
I'd like to ask about (or maybe request) a specific feature or two, so if this is not in the right place, please move it to the right forum as needed! And if these abilites are already in the full app, please let me know.
I use a dual wide monitor setup for print and web design. Monitor setup has Photoshop full screen, with its many palettes "on the other screen." Same for InDesign. This saves me opening and closing menus and palettes, and reduces the number of hotkeys I need to keep memorized!
Question 3 (added later!)
Is it possible for the monitor fade function to "follow the mouse" without having to click in the new window to unfade it? So as I move from one window to the next, hovering over a new one, have the new one appear full while the others fade? Is this in any way similar to scrolling a non-active window below the mouse without altering the selected window (or monitor), but instead having the non-faded element follow the mopuse by position?
Question 1
Is there any way you can dim "everything BUT the application AND its palettes"? Currently, as far as I can tell, it dims the inactive monitor in its entirety (along with the active App's palettes that are shown on that monitor), making that usage method less functional for me (I like the dimming pretty dark). Is it possible to keep Photoshop on the main monitor and Photoshop's palettes (on the other monitor) fully lit, and dim the rest of the display?
Question 2
Is it possible for the dimming feature on/off to be implemented over a number of milliseconds, to reduce the "sudden cut" of illumination? Even if it were just a toggle between "instant" and "15ms" it would be less jarring and not draw the user's attention. This may already be in there, but the number of options (and new terms) can be overwhelming, plus I may not have access to that.
Thank you for listening, and for your answers.
Jim
