I added some documents to multi-monitor taskbar shortcuts on second monitor. For example, an excel-sheet. Now if I click this it opens, but then is not focused. So I open it and type something, but it doesn't work because it's not focused. I have to click the window first. No other window is focused either. For example, pressing alt-f4 after opening one of these shortcuts does nothing.
I was able to reproduce that here so I've added it to our list to look into.
Thanks!

Nope, sadly it is not fixed.
It seems to work sometimes. But more often not. To test it, try to open more than one file from the taskbar and you'll see. The first one seems to focus, but after that it's not working again.

I'm sorry, but there is so much information in that log that I don't feel comfortable sharing it. Can you please try opening multiple files from the df taskbar shortcuts on a secondary monitor. You should be able to reproduce this. It seems to always happen with txt documents. Sometimes the first open works correctly, but subsequent files do not focus.
I was able to reproduce this on beta 3 but I can't on beta 4. We'll open it up again and see if we can find anything else
We've made some more changes that might help here, please let me know if you run into any issues after updating.

I've installed beta 5 and sorry to say that the issue persists.
Hmmm okay, we'll take another look at it.
Thanks!

Sad to report that it just happened again..
Was it a one off, or it happens every time now?

It happens all the time now. It seemed to be working, immediately after installing the latest beta, but I guess that was a fluke. It looks like the latest beta has made no difference.
