1. As reported in another topic, DF's taskbar is stuck in auto-hide and does not respond to DF's taskbar Auto-Hide settings.

2. Window Location (specifically Move Window) no longer works correctly either automatically or manually. DF doesn't seem to have the correct screen size/location any more under Windows 10. On my dual monitor set-up, DF can no longer fill the screen properly and shifts game windows (and even full screen mode screens!) several pixels to the left, leaving a visible gap to right with a small part of the screen on the left monitor. Looks suspiciously like something to do with the new W10 Action Centre given the location.

edit: correction, this (2) is also happening to other full screen apps (eg. full screen videos, browsers, etc.). In addition, these types of full screens also get messed up with the taskbar, both with the DF controlled permanently auto-hidden taskbar (DF allows space for the taskbar, even when it shouldn't) and the windows controlled taskbar if using DF to switch a full screen app to that display (windows can no longer hide the taskbar and app almost seems to end up being both full-screen and a maximized window at the same time.. all displayed with the left-offset described above).

To be clear: This is all on the latest DF.

Update on the DF Taskbar Auto-Hide: DF is updating the registry setting for Auto-Hide, it's just simply not doing it.

I'm also having issues with moving windows, specifically reproduceable with any win10 windows and trying to move them to next monitor or move them and size proportionally... both of them keep the window on the same monitor and just make it smaller.

Hmm.. restored the DF settings from a 7.1.99.110 backup (days before the W10 upgrade) and the taskbar issue is resolved now.

Full Screen is still broken though.

Could you guys attach a copy of your troubleshooting info? I think the window positioning issues have to do with font scaling, but I'd like to check out your setups and test them here :)
  • Open the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the Copy to Clipboard button
  • Open Notepad, paste the text, and save the file
  • Reply with the text file attached

Thanks!

I would add that the multi-monitor taskbar is being hidden when I click on the minimize all Windows hotspot at the end of the taskbar. Normally, and preferably, the taskbar on the second monitor remains visible after minimizing all windows. Otherwise Display Fusion is working OK on Windows 10 for me.

Thanks! Everything in the troubleshooting info looks fine too. When it happens again, could you send over a full debug log?
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Note that as of 7.3 beta 1 the multi-monitor taskbar still hides when I click the "show desktop" button to minimize all windows at the end of either of the taskbars.

Victor: Post a Trouble Shooting Log as Keith describes above, perhaps it will help.

The 7.3 beta 2 seems to have fixed the main issues with Move Windows under W10.

Thank you.
