I'm running DisplayFusion Pro. I have three monitors. Recently, my background have started appearing like the attached screenshot. All three monitors, all three backgrounds, no matter what the picture, will look like this. If I manually cycle them, it'll go away. I have no idea what triggers it; it's been seemingly random so far.

Any ideas?

Could you send me a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Reproduce the issue (or wait for it to happen again) and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

I will do my best to get that to you. Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for sending that over, that's really strange. Does it only happen when the image is loaded, or does it randomly happen after a period of time after the image is already loaded?

I have never noticed it occurring when a background is loaded. In fact, that's how I clear it; tell the program to cycle the background image. It only occurs after the image has been loaded for some time.

If you disable DisplayFusion from managing your background and set it up through Windows, does the same thing happen?

I apologize for the really long delay in answering. No, if I simply manage my background through Windows, it does not get garbled.
