Feature Request:
Settings - Taskbar - Middle-clicking a taskbar item closes it.
I need it to be like the middle-click=close functionality of Taskbar Shuffle (http://nerdcave.webs.com/).
Since Taskbar Shuffle came out for 64-bit Vista, I've been using it with my primary Windows taskbar.
It would be nice to have the same functionality emulated within DisplayFusion's taskbar.
Is this "close application/window" feature easy to add? If so, could/would you?
Edit: I really think DisplayFusion is lacking configurability in some aspects. Since it runs on multiple Windows platforms, it should know the difference between them and not just cater to the Windows 7 crowd. I searched for this feature request on the forums and came up with an answer saying the Aero previews could be middle clicked in the future to close, but this is Windows 7 behavior. Taskbar Shuffle behavior is more appropriate for me because Windows Vista Aero taskbar previews can't even be moused over without them closing. I like the Taskbar Shuffle behavior because I can more quickly middle-click close a window that way. I like the behavior between my taskbars to be consistent.
P.S. I love what you did with the window drag hook. I still like my idea of a hand cursor, but your full screen grey rectangle and monitor number implementation is nice. I must note that the hook isn't responsive when opening a new copy of Firefox (or any application that takes a few seconds to load). Basically I have to wait until Firefox is done loading before I can move it to the next monitor using mouse dragging. Since I open and close Firefox a lot using the mouse drag hook is kind of bothersome. Using the keyboard shortcuts I can move it much quicker. Perhaps that hook lag issue can't be fixed.
Thanks.
