Hey BinaryFortress team and everyone else,
I'm a new user, I decided to go the paid option and get the pro version because without people paying for it, then you guys wouldn't be able to keep the updates going etc.
I know exactly nothing about DisplayFusion, I stumbled across it trying to find a solution for the lovely Windows "feature" where anytime a digital connection goes to sleep, Windows decides the cable has been pulled and reverts to the Simulated Registry key entry values which drives me insane.
I had been using a small app called Persistent Windows developed by NinjaCrab but it has been a bit buggy and the Dev is no longer working on it and it is in Beta at best.
So I was hoping you fine fellows could link me in the direction of a few things because I don't exactly know what to search for to get what I am after.
I want my taskbars across all three monitors (which I've done) and I would like the preview window when I hover over the icon so I can actually select which open browser etc I want (at the moment nothing comes up when I hover over it).
I'd love a way to stop my windows from rearranging and resizing after monitor power cycles.
It would be great if the DisplayFusion taskbar didn't remain open on top of open full screen applications like Netflix and i don't understand why when I move another application window around, the full screen application on my primary (middle of three) closes to the dock.
Essentially, I paid $30 bucks because the windows resizing bugged the hell out of me and a friend said this program was really good and I wanted to help future development.
I love the window snapping to other windows, saves my OCD ass fifteen minutes doing it by eye. I just want it to run like normal Windows 10 but with something to fix the resizing on monitor power cycle (sleep/hibernate) and I'll keep the awesome window snapping to windows
If I think of anything else I will post it up.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Paul

Hey Keith,
The peek settings are on for the taskbar, it just doesn't work when I use the DF taskbar.
I did try the linked solution, it just doesn't seem to send the open windows back to the right monitors all the time, it will send some of them back to the correct position but not all, I don't have my monitors set to enter a rest state while the PC is on, only to a screen saver so the only trigger that it should need is the computer being put to sleep manually, could this be a reason why and if so is there a modification to the trigger to save the window position that could fix it?
As for the Netflix thing, its the application, not browser but it doesn't really bother me

Sometimes it sends nearly everything to the wrong monitor even set up following the exact directions on the other psot
If you set key combinations on the "Save Window Positions" and "Restore Window Positions" functions on the Settings > Functions tab, then manually run the Save function before sleeping the computer, and manually run the Restore function when waking it up, does that put them in the correct place?

However when I do run it manually using WIN+SHIFT+HOME to restore the windows to last saved position, it ends up making firefox and chrome windows all buggy and weird looking
Ok, interesting. Could you attach screenshots of the Trigger rules you have setup?
