First of all: I really love DF and WB.

Also I think DF is doing a great job in "cloning" the skinned default taskbar (same color, same height, same TEXTURE!!!).

Would be possible for DF to "clone" the skinned windows from default taskbar to DF taskbar, too? This is the ONLY thing that sometimes gives us a weird visual, because there are themes that change the windows skins on default taskbar, but the new window skin it not cloned to DF's taskbar.

I'm asking that without any knowledge of coding in both products, so i apologize in advance, if what I'm asking sounds stupid or lame.

I've had a quick test of WindowBlinds 10 and confirmed that the taskbar buttons aren't getting themed. I've added this to our list and we'll be sure to let you know when we've gotten it all fixed up

Yes, but it's bad news for now. The taskbar theme stuff doesn't work the same way in Windows 10 as it used to in Windows 7 and 8. To solve this we may need to reach out to the Stardock dev team to see if they can implement some APIs for us to load their themes on our taskbar in Windows 10. If we're able to make some progress on that, we'll definitely post an update

I'll be working on WindowBlinds testing this weekend, we hope to improve the compatibility for the next DisplayFusion version.

Where did this thread end up? Like most fixes I look for this ends in "we're working on it".
I still have this problem... Running WB 10.71 & DF Pro 9.53 with a Windows 10 OS and my taskbar buttons are not getting skinned the way WB has designed them.
There must have been something accomplished since Nov 2016 on this issue!
Appreciate any guidance with this.

Apologies that there hasn't been any progress on this yet. Unfortunately we have a long list of bugs, quirks, and feature requests, and only so much time in the day. There are a number of things that factor into how to prioritize issues, including how many people report them, and difficulty of resolving the issue. At any rate, this is still open on our list, and we will definitely post an update if/when we're able to get it fixed up.

I'm having this issue also, I'd love for these two apps to work together. The kind of person running a huge monitor is the same kind of person that would love something like Windowblinds I think, so I still hold out hope one day for a fix.
