I'm using windows 7 64bit and NV surround, with 3 monitors in a landscape (3x1) configuration.
1. With monitor splits (bezel corrected) even though nvsurround sees the 3 monitors as one big monitor, DF can distinguish them as 1.1,1.2 and 1.3 respectively. However, every new window (including child windows) opens on the left monitor (1.1). Triggers can help with individual apps, but ideally I'd like everything to open on the middle monitor universally. What am I doing wrong?
2. Can you use hotkeys in DF to turn NVsurround on and off simply (without using Nvidia's terrible implementation of hotkeys)?
3. I would like the taskbar to only appear on the middle monitor split. If I disable the "enable multi-monitor taskbars" option in DF, I instead get a taskbar that spans all three monitors, with the start button on the left monitor, and the clock and system tray on the right monitor. How can I get this right?
4. Using monitor splits, I imagine it's possible to use the windows key and left/right arrow to align two separate windows next to each other symmetrically, per individual monitor, rather than Nvsurround seeing all monitors together as one. I've not been able to achieve this, and pressing windows key and left arrow (for example) will result in the window taking up the left monitor and half the middle monitor. What can I do?
Thanks!

Thank you for your help!
Regarding point 3 from the previous post, if I follow your instructions, the taskbars do indeed disappear, but windows sees the space as still taken up - if I maximise a window for example, it acts as if the taskbar is still there. Can I avoid this?
Also, what would be the best way to "turn off" the left and right monitor, while keeping the middle one active, all while still using NVsurround? Is this doable?
Thanks again.
