My desktop wallpaper slideshow has been hampered by the new issue of the beta Nvidia App overlay

From my log:

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info while it's detected? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

That's not quite what I'm looking for, it should create a .zip file with an html file inside. Could you try those steps again?

Wow, oops. I blame it on the mess that is my sleep the last few days.

Also just in case you aren't familiar, this is with the new beta Nvidia App, not GeForce Experience.

Thanks for sending that over, we'll see if we can get this fixed up for our next beta.

Thanks!

This also blocked various profiles auto load. (v10.1.2)
when changing the wallpaper, profiles are also loaded. it's a strange point.
if turn off the full screen detection option in wallpaper settings, also loads fine.
it seems not separated from the monitor and wallpaper configuration.

I have the same issue however it doesn't really work even if I allow changing wallpapers while fullscreen programs are running.
Approximately at the same time I converted all my wallpapers to .webp, could that be an issue? If changing manually they work just fine.

We've released a new beta that might fix this up, can you try it out and let me know if you run into any issues? Here's the link: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Thanks, seems better but far from perfect unfortunately. I set it to change wallpapers every 1 minute, it might change on 1 monitor once and stop doing it, but mostly it does nothing.
Are webps supported?

Yep .webp files should work. Could you send me over a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

I think after updating AND rebooting it started working again. With 60 minute interval at least. When I set it to 1 minute for testing doesn't seem to work.
