Hey folks,
I am just testing this App, and I don't see a couple of the setting I need.

I run a big PC, (in my opinion), My Build, Gigabyte P965-DS3, C2Q 6600 (2.4 Ghz), 8Gig-mem, 5 Tbs HDD's, 2 Vid cards, (both GeForce 9400GT's {1=PCIe, 1=PCI}), 4 Monitors (2-19" wide {1440x900}, 1-19" sq{1280x1024} and 1-17" sq{1280x1024}, Windows XP sp3, Windows XP x64 and Windows 7 x64 (on separate partitions. and Many Applications that I use for Engineering Design Work. Not for graphics work.

What I need (which kinda works with nVidia Desktop Manager) is to not allow any windows to go off screen, and not to allow any windows to span multi-monitors. These 2 functions work in Windows XP, both x86 and x64. But they do not work on the Windows 7 version. nVidia has discontinued the installation of the nView App from Vista on up, (why I don't know, and they won't answer any questions).

Also, because of my monitor configuration, I can not set different images to eack monitor with nVidia. I assume that I can with Display Fusion.
Are the other 2 needs capable with Display Fusion??

I'll see if I can address both of your issues. First, I'm not sure what you mean by not letting the windows span or move off screen. If you maximize the window on the monitor won't it take up the entire monitor without being spanned? Second, DisplayFusion will definitely let you set a different wallpaper on each screen, or span a large image across all 4 screens. :)

Hello "Jon Tackabury"
Thank you very much for your quick reply. You are very impressive to me.

As for my needs. Many times when I am working on projects, I run multi-Apps that interact with my project, primarily CAD design work, Script operations and a Special type, known as computer simulation type apps.

During the operations that I work with some reactions that pop up can go off screen partially or span across more than 1 or 2 monitor.

When this happens it causes me anger and disappointment.

Example: During the Design functions I will run 2 some times 3 simulation software that test my designs in physics, engineering structure reactions, and dynamic thermal reactions at the same time, and, if the display settings (which I use in nVidia's "nView") are not set properly I will have to start the test over after resetting the nView's controls for each program and internal components of the programs.

Hope this helps you to understand my questions.

Thanks again Jon.

I think I understand what you are saying, but unfortunately DisplayFusion doesn't have the ability to restrict a window to a certain size or screen. The closest thing DisplayFusion has is HotKeys that you can configure to move and size windows. For example, there is a HotKey to centre a window on the screen. If a window pops up and is partially off the screen, just hit "Ctrl + Win + Q" to re-centre it.

I forgot to mention, I love the way you mounted the quad monitors in 2 rows - that's perfect. I'm a bit jealous. :)
