In Visual Studio the title bar button is far to the left (see snapshot). Is there a way to bring it close to the other default title bar buttons ?

On the DisplayFusion Settings > Compatibility tab, you can add a rule for Visual Studio there and use the TitleBar Button Offset options in the rule to adjust the positioning. Positive horizontal values will move it to the right.
Hope that helps!

When I open VS, it seems like the title bar button is trying to re-position. But then again it comes back to its usual location.

Sorry, we're checking into a few things on this. I'll keep you posted when there's and update.
Thanks!
Is that Visual Studio 2019 in your screenshot? The compatibility rule looks like it's for VS 2017.

Works well with VS 2019 but not with VS 2017
Ok, so the issue with VS2017 is that there's a quick launch search bar at the top that can be enabled/disabled, but we can't detect that.
If you create a Compatibility rule for it again, but use 150 for the horizontal offset, how does that look?
