Brand new feature, and given its scope, we might want to keep them consolidated if it turns out there anre many.

so far theres one that I've had, setting up a titlebar button for them doesn't work with the auto select image enabled. The hotkey has no hotkey if that will matter.

I assume the beta report is talking about this?

and my I offer up the addition of a simple cycle profile option as well?

Also, whatever happened to that titlebar button gap idea? Not the offset, but rather the gap between two already in place buttons. With profiles I think this comes to a new light.

Also it seems that each profile will save the last image it was on? Having this as an option would be nice. Also being able to "sync" two profiles random rotation would make for some interesting ideas, but may be too hard to implement. An easier idea would be to have a profile be able to ONLY edit a setting, not the image selection.

The "auto select image" feature will be working in Beta 10. The gap idea is still on my list, but probably won't make it in until version 3.3. The profiles do save the last image they were using, and I don't currently have any plans to change this right now. For the "cycle profile", do you mean something like "Load random profile" or "load next profile"? Thanks! :)

Both? :D

And what of a profile that didn't effect the image rotation? IE you have a profile for monitors A+B, but want to use A+C but the only difference is that you need scaling for a+C for whichever reason, why interrupt the image rotation when its only a setting? Same thing could be applied to the image filters, being able to turn on and off inversion on a picture whenever I want would be very cool, but as is the image changes as well, and at that it just changes back and froth between the same two .

That's a very interesting, and somewhat complicated idea. :) I'll give it some thought for future releases, but I won't plan for it in the 3.2.x series.
