So, first of all, thank you for the opportunity to express my doubts.

Trigger Created:
Event: Window Created
Frequency: Always

Match Conditions:
C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe

Window Class:
"Qt5QWindowIcon"

The problem: I am trying to open different files (once per time) but same program (VLC) at the same position. My trigger is working opening for the first time but if I open another video when the first one still running not work the video open in a different position that my trigger.

I tried:
I created a VLC "Window Position Profile".
I created a Trigger.

In my Opinion, the solution is that VLC is running and when open a next video identify that is the same application and move to the same position or readjust for the size I previously made it, but I can't think anymor.

2-Second question

Is there a way to make it from a specific folder with the "Process Command Line Parameters" ?
Something like open any Videos from the movies folder at the same position. Basically is the same thing as the first question but opening from a specific directory

Directory
user\Videos\Movies\action
user\Videos\Movies\drama

Process Command Line Parameters
"C:\user\Videos\Movies\*.*\"

I had a config, but I forgot it.
I thought you understood. If you need attachments, let me know.

Thank you!

If you're trying to open multiple copies of VLC, you can create a custom function to open it and specify the app parameters if you're trying to open a specific file. A trigger won't really help you there. We have a guide on creating custom functions here: https://www.displayfusion.com/HelpGuide/CustomFunctions/

We don't support moving based on a specific folder, but if the files have unique window text based on the path they're coming, you can use the "Window Text" match condition to grab them.

Thanks!
