I have a trigger setup to maximize the firefox window on a specific monitor depending on the title of the currently opened tab in said window.
Minimizing and then restoring the window triggers the "window restored" trigger as expected.
but when opening firefox the "window created" trigger does NOT activate.
I started noticing this issue a couple of days ago.
Removing the "window text" lets the "window created" trigger work again.
so there seems to be a new issue when firefox is opening

Hi Jeffen,

Can you try adding a 1000ms wait timer before it maximizes the window, and see if that helps?

Thanks!

i tried both "delay before checking match conditions" and just the normal "wait" before the maximize function.
neither works.

Hi Jeffen,

Could you send me over a screenshot of the trigger you're using?

Thanks!

it appears 1000ms just wasnt enough time for the page to load. I set the delay to 3000 and now it works more reliably, but not all the time.
just incase here are my settings

not sure theres anything that can be done here since it's dependent on how firefox launches.

Hi Jeffen,

Interesting, it doesn't look like that screenshot got attached. Could you try sending it again?

Thanks!

Hi Jeffen,

Thanks for sending that over. Rather then increasing the "Delay before checking match condition", can you add a "Wait" action for 1000ms before it moves the window, and see if that helps?

Thanks!

Hi Jeffen,

Interesting, can you try removing the Monitor Profile match condition in that trigger as well? If that doesn't help, can you remove the brackets from your Window Text match condition, so it reads: "Gmail" +"Firefox Nightly"

Let me know if either of those help.

Thanks!

Hi Jeffen,

Let's increase the wait timer in the action pane and see if that changes anything. For testing, can you set that to 10,000ms and see if it helps?

Thanks!
