When I use the Start button on the 2nd display, the OpenShell Start appears, but then disappears after about 1 second. Both clicking with mouse, and using keyboard. I tried without DisplayFusion, and OpenShell Start works fine on 2nd monitor without DisplayFusion.

I've been using DisplayFusion since 2021, and OpenShell even longer, with no problems. This was a recent change in behavior. It feels like this changed when I recently updated from DisplayFusion v9.9 to V10.0

Here's the basic system info. See also attached DisplayFusionDebugInfo.zip
  • Windows 10, 22H2 build 19045
  • DisplayFusion Pro v10.0
  • OpenShell v4.4.190 (https://open-shell.github.io/Open-Shell-Menu/)

This issue should be fixed up in the latest beta, available here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta. Please let me know if you still run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

Yes, the "v10.1 (beta 7)" version fixes these symptoms. :)

Question about running with the beta: I generally prefer non-beta, so once v10.1 is out-of-beta, what happens to my install? Will my Beta install automatically update to non-beta? Or will I need to install the released 10.1 to get off of beta?

In the DisplayFusion Settings > Options, if you have "Check for Updates Automatically" enabled, it will prompt you to update when the full version is released, otherwise it will just stay on your current version until you manually update.
