This just started happening.

When DisplayFusion is running in the tray, whichever monitor is not the active monitor that I am working on will get dimmer.

I did not intentionally change any settings in DF.

Anyone else having this issue?

It might be the Monitor Fading feature. When we first rolled it out, it had a default hotkey assigned. (no longer the case in new installations)

Here's how to disable it:

  • Open the DisplayFusion Settings
  • On the Monitor Fading tab, disable the "Enable Monitor Fading" checkbox
  • Optionally, click the X next to the hotkey box to clear the hotkey
  • Click Apply

Hope that helps!

That did it!

Thanks. I had no idea that was even an option.
