    Outlook 2019 Version 2112 build 14729.20260 Click-to-Run

I have Window Position Profiles for "Home" (H) and "Work" (W) tied to keyboard shortcuts. I have three monitors--Left (L), Center (C), and Right (R).

What Should Happen
Press the shortcut for Work. All windows are relocated to the W positions. This means many windows from L and R monitors move to C.

What Happens Instead
Press the shortcut for Work. All windows except Outlook relocate to the W positions. Outlook crashes and relaunches, opening on the same monitor (R) as it was on previously. I can either press the shortcut for W again, or manually drag it (maximized or not) from R to C.

When it Started
I did not notice this behavior in December 2021. I went on vacation from the middle of December 2021 until January 3, 2022. It was at this point (when I switched from H to W) that I observed the "Outlook crashing" behavior.

What other information can I provide? Debug logs for DisplayFusion? Windows event logs?

Hi Nathan,

What version of Outlook are you currently running? You should be able to find it under File > Office Account > About Outlook.

Thanks!

Interesting, I'm running version 2201 (Build 14827.20192) and I can't seem to reproduce this. Are you able to update and see if the issue persists?

Thanks!

I've noticed something else. It does the crash once. Then if I try to repeat it, Outlook behaves.

It ALSO seems to correlate with the first time I relocate the windows after resuming from S3 sleep.

I will enable DF's logging mode tomorrow, then see what I find.

Ah okay, can you send over that log when you get a chance?

Thanks!
