Longtime user, love the software. Is it possible to either throttle the CPU used when changing wallpapers or pause the wallpaper slideshow when certain programs are running? I'm a gamer and normally am fine with the stutter caused when changing wallpapers on my 3 4k monitors, however, on some beefier games, the stutter becomes distracting.
If you open Windows Settings > Personalization > Colours, is the "Automatically pick an accent colour" option enabled there?
Strange, I'm not too sure what's causing that spike then.
To answer your question: You can create a trigger in DisplayFusion that uses the "Window Created" event, and add in the "Process Filename" match condition for the app you want it to fire on, and then run the "Pause/Resume Desktop Wallpaper Slideshow" action. You can then create a second trigger the runs on the "Window Destoryed" event to resume it when it exits.
