I have firefox pinned to one of the DF task bars and it simply wont open. I click the shotcut to open it and it works fine. I pin that shortcut and it just does nothing when i click it. All my other programs i pinned work fine though. Also i use the function to save and move window postions and i noticed the save doesn't stay after a restart is this normal?

Once mozilla is actually open i can right click it on the taskbar and open new tabs and windows but it simply wont launch the first copy of the program for some reason?

Could you right-click the shortcut, choose "Edit this pinned item," and attach a screenshot of it?

Thanks!

I tried checking admin and unchecking force to start on monitor, neither changed anything.

I got it to work by manually adding it, but right clicking to pin didn't work no matter what. Some sort of bug i guess.

I'm on DisplayFusion 7.3 (Steam). Fresh Windows 10 installation. Pinned Chrome to the taskbar on my left monitor (path C:\Users\myname\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe). Pressing it when Chrome is closed does nothing (doesn't launch application). When I open Chrome via original Windows taskbar, the pinned button does show as an open window and does minimize / maximize the window when pressed (as expected). Had the same thing happen with iTunes just prior to refreshing my Windows installation (blamed it on iTunes at first but seems to be a DisplayFusion issue).

Attached the troubleshooting log in case you need it.

Edit: just tried it with some more apps, seems to be a global issue (introduced in last update?). None of them launch when pressing the shortcut pinned on a DF taskbar.

I can confirm I am experiencing the same issue.

Seems this bug was introduced on the latest update.

OS: Windows 10 Pro x64

It sure was :(

We'll hopefully have this fixed up soon. In the meantime, they should work if you manually add them through Settings > Taskbar > Taskbar Shorcuts.

We'll be sure to post an update as soon as we've resolved this issue.

Thanks!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
