FYI - I've been using Stardock's ModernMix to run windowed Metro apps on the desktop. I can pin them to the main taksbar with no problems but if I pin them to one of my secondary monitor taskbars it pins the ModernMix program itself instead of the Metro app.

It's not a big deal but it would be nice to move a couple off the main taskbar.

I'm not sure yet if this is possible, but I'll definitely check it out and keep you posted on what I find out.

Thanks!

We're actually looking into resolving a similar issue, that would probably fix this up as well :)

I've added your info to that ticket so that we can follow-up here when it's resolved. In the meantime, you can work around it by doing the following:
  • Open the ModernMix app on the Windows taskbar
  • Right-click it, then right-click the name in the Jump List and choose Properties
  • Copy the parameter from the Target box (see the attached screenshot)
  • Create a new shortcut on the DF taskbar for the ModernMix launcher, and use the parameter copied from the Target box in the shortcut settings (see the attached screenshot)

The shortcut will just have a generic icon, but you can set a custom one if you like.

I'll definitely post a follow-up if/when we're able to get this fixed up properly.

Thanks!
