Hi All,
I've asked this before but I need to ask again (sorry!)
Can someone PLEASEcopy virtually /feature for feature/ the functionality of Winsplit Revolution.
It's no longer being updated, the website has gone down and I sincerely doubt the developers patented the functionality of the package.
This is an EXTREMELY powerful yet simple Window management tool for resizing Windows with hotkeys. If you're quick on the keyboard and know what you're doing you can very quickly split for example 4 explorer Windows into 4 perfect even splits for example. Think of it as super version of the Winkey + left / right cursor hotkeys. (You DO know about those right?)
Display Fusion has some /mildly similar/ functionality but it's not as easy to setup new configurations and it's not as powerful.
Here is a video of the program in action - hopefully this explains it

Here is a link to the installer, (hard to find since the original site is gone) install it.

Then import my settings file, quit and re-open the program.

Just hold down the windows key and press any of 12346789 on the numeric keypad
Furthermore try hitting them multiple times, like WinKey + Num1, Num1, Num1, Num1 - cycle through my configured Window sizes and you'll see there's a few there, they are mirror'd for each corner.
Example I can quickly make a 50/50 Horizontal split.
Open a Window, then hit Winkey + Num8 (up) for Window 1
Then Alt tab to Window 2 and hold Winkey + Num2 (down)
You will see this demonstrated in the video above.
My recommendation is a new box / tab / entire settings "menu" for the "Window shape manager tool" - don't just put it on the hotkey page where your current implimentation of similar features are.
Thanks and sorry for hassling but I'd hate to lose this program forever one day and it'd be nice to see what the Display Fusion devs could do to enhance the functionality even more?

I wasn't aware you were planning to actually do it - I recall asking but I thought it a bit brazen to expect you guys do everything we ask, so it's appreciated.
From my perspective, I effectively want to recreate the functionality from Winsplit down to a T - performance, configurability. Hopefully you've installed it, loaded on my configuration file and seen how snappy it is and how configurable. (Take a look at layout settings in the options)
This isn't a huge priority but could be nice in the long run - thanks Keith.

Hi,
Just wondering if the Winsplit Revolution features were implemented or available as a downloadable function/trigger?
I just installed displayfusion v8 Beta 1. I have been using WinSplit Revolution for years and even made donations, only to find it discontinued.

I'd also gladly pay for Winsplit Revolution functionality. Heartbroken it doesn't work on Win 10...

Still very happy with the support from DF Keith - glad you're considering adding this stuff eventually.
Winsplit (for the time being) works and I've got the exe saved if anyone ever needs it - also welcome to my config which is pretty powerful.
Not a high priority (for me) since winsplit continues to work (I've not tried Win10, presumably?) and the EXE can still be found online

WinSplit is working fine for me in Windows 10, however it was an upgrade from Win 8.1 -> 10 so maybe that is why it still works. I will soon reformat and start anew so maybe it will not work or install then.
However what I wanted from displayfusion was returning windows apps to a specific monitor or position. I switched from a bunch of dell monitors to two Vizio 43" 4K displays and they go to sleep hard and the PC thinks they disconnected. I have to manually turn them on, wait a bit, then wake up my PC but even that will cause the windows to loose their place.
previous setup: (top) three dell 24" (bottom) two samsung 20" in portrait and a single dell 30" landscape. (almost 3yrs old now and cost over $3k total)
new setup: two vizio 43" 4K (M43-C1 for $550ea) one as primary and another on top at 12 degree down angle.

Thanks Keith! I will give that a try on this new machine.
Any update on the WinSplit-Revolution features/keyboard shortcuts?

I would also happily pay for WinSplit revolution for Windows 10. I've missed 3x2 layout and Ctrl+Alt+Num* keys so much.
Any chance to get it back?
