From the troubleshooting info, it looks like the hooks aren't running. If you open the Windows Task Manager, are the "DisplayFusionHookApp..." listed on the Details tab?

DisplayFusionHookAppWIN6032.exe and DisplayFusionHookAppWIN6064.exe are both running.
Edit:
I've just checked the troubleshooting info again, and now it says they are running. The tooltip is still not working though.

Thanks! It still seems like the hooks may not be working correctly. Is it just some apps that the tooltips aren't showing on, or all apps? Which app did you test with when you created the log?

I think I tested it with the DisplayFusion settings window. The tooltip is not working with any windows I've tried so far.
Do other features that use the hooks, like the middle-click window moving (middle-click the titlebar to move it to the next monitor) work?

The middle-click window moving is working. I don't know which other features use hooks, though.

Same issue with 11 beta 2. Warning--I am running Windows 11 Insider Preview Dev Mode. This is the only issue. I've been running Insider Preview since it's inception, but I believe the tooltip start some time ago.

It seems to work fine here, could you send me over a video of the issue?

Not sure how I can send a video of what's not happing. When moving a window I used to see the position in the upper left and bottom right corners like the image below. xShow tooltip when moving or resizing is checked.

Could you send me a backup of your settings? You can grab it via the DisplayFusion Settings Window > Options > Export Settings

Here's the backup.

Yeah that's really odd, it works fine on my end with your settings as well. Could you enter "winver" in a run prompt and send me over a screenshot of the window that appears?

Really strange. I don't know how long it's been missing--I only use the poisition occasionaly when I wanmt to change the position profile I find so convenient.

Thanks for sending that over. Can you try the following:
1. Click on another window, then click back on the Word window. Do the tooltips show up now when you try to move it?
2. Close all open windows, exit DisplayFusion, start DisplayFusion, then start Word. Do the tooltips show up now when you try to move it?

This feature must be dependent on "Show windows contents while dragging." Noticed the note under windows snapping and tried it. Success at last!
