Hi there, im sure this has been asked a few times but here it goes again.

In my multi monitor display there are a certain apps that i ALWAYS use on the second display such as chrome secondary profile.

However even though its on the secondard display the main icon is always shown on the first display as the main launch icon even though i also see the running icon display on the second display as well. Its confusing.

Maybe this is a limitation of windows ? but if possible can we have shortcut launch icons on the right side also ? I guess this would give us more room on the main taskbar as well, this is like have 2 real independant taskbars ?

Just a thought ? can this be done. Here is a small screenshot as an example of my first taskbar has 2x chrome launch icons, 2x chrome icons.

You can indeed do this! Here are the steps:
  • Right-click the DisplayFusion taskbar and navigate to Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Shortcuts > Edit Shortcuts.
  • Click "Add Application."
  • Select Chrome from the "Select Application" window that pops up.
  • In the "Command Line Arguments" box, enter --profile-directory="XXXXX" (where "XXXXX" is the name of your Chrome user profile). You can check the path to the profile in the "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data" folder.
  • Click OK, then test out your new shortcut!

Hope that helps!

That would be handy, but I'm not sure we can get the shortcut info from the Windows taskbar when dragging a pinned button :(
