Hi,

I've got an issue which I would like to use the prevent active window deactivation but also be able to click/type on the other screens.

Not sure if this is already possible or not?

Basically, I need Google Chrome to be active on one of my screens, allowing me to have applications open on the other screens and work on them but the Chrome screen has to be always active, if that makes sense?

Cheers,

Jay

You should be able to click and type in stuff on the other monitor after running the Prevent Window Deactivation function, and then pressing Alt+Tab to switch to the app on the other monitor.

If that's not working, please let me know your Windows version, and the game you're trying it with, and we'll try to test it out here. Not all games behave well when using the Prevent Window Deactivation function.

Thanks!

Hi,

How bizzare! It's working now!

I must have tried that about 20 times!

It's not a game I'm trying, it's Google Chrome running a Binary Options broker (Forex/Binary trading), which I have a 4 screen setup to monitor stock chart currency pairs.

I have a custom piece of software running as a Chrome extension that monitors clicks, just needed to make sure that Chrome instance on a monitor stays active for the software to function correctly.

Many thanks,

Regards,

Jay
