So my situation. I technically have 3 displays. I have 2 monitors, and a stero reciever connected via HDMI for 5.1 audio. Because Win10, the Head unit is treated as a Display by windows. So it has to be active as "monitor" to get HMDI audio streams. which is fine...until I turn off one of my actual monitors for any reason, and Win10 shuffles all the open application windows to the Reciver's "Display," which of course doesn't have a monitor connected to it because its a 5.1 sound system.

A good example of when this happens? ANY time you alt-tab in and out of a full screen application, like a video game to use Discord.

I can move them back to either of my *actual* monitors, but I have move each window at a time, and then resize them all. Its highly annoying.

So is there a way to ensure that app-windoes do NOT get moved to this display when my primary is turned off?

There isn't a way to prevent them from moving there, no. What you could do is set key combinations on the "Save Window Positions" and "Restore Window Positions From Last Save" functions on the DisplayFusion Settings > Functions tab. You can then save the positions when they're good, and restore them if they get messed up :)

Hope that helps!
