I enabled this setting, logged off and back on, but corners are still sticky.

When it's not working, if you just leave it enabled, and click apply in the settings again, does it work? Note that you need to wait about 30 seconds for the hooks to finish reloading after applying the settings.

No, still does not work and I've left it enabled for 10+ minutes.
