Hi i just bought a license and im just wondering why is the "Prevent Window Deactivation" does not work on my games. When i turn it on and click on my second screen (which has an application running) the game freeze and it stop working. The games the i play is Dota 2 and scribblenauts unmasked. Other than that this software is awesome!

I have access to Dota 2 here, so I'll test it out next week and keep you posted. Some games need a bit of fussing to work, others just don't work correctly with the Function at all, but I'll see what I can do!

Alright, thanks!! Let me know when you have a solution or something that it will make it work.

Ok, it looks like Dota 2 definitely doesn't like have the window focus stuff hooked, so unfortunately the Function won't work with it. I don't have Scribblenauts here to test with, but it's likely the same issue.

One workaround for Dota 2 is to set it to Borderless Windowed in the Video settings. When you do that, you should be able to Alt-Tab out of the game and do whatever you need to do, and then just Alt-Tab back in when you're done. I've tested it here and it works great :)

Thanks!

Any idea if this will be fixed? Or is it just not possible to do with DOTA2? :/

Hi, I too am a Dota2 player and I also get the game freeze until I tab back into it when using the prevent window deactivation function. Unfortunately the borderless window workaround won't do for me because I have the in-game gamma set quite high, and the in-game gamma settings don't work in borderless window mode.

It would be great if you guys can make the prevent window deactivation work with Dota2. I like to spectate games and browse the internet or chat on skype at the same time.

Unfortunately at the moment there's nothing we can do to fix it. The function hooks the game to trick it into thinking it hasn't lost focus, even when it has, but some games just don't work properly when we do that :(

Sorry!
