Hello, is there a way to prevent Windows from opening on a particular monitor, even if they open is there a way to have it automatically move to the primary display if it open there.

My setup currently shows 3 displays 2 of which actually exist the third one is a phantom monitor because it is the only way to get surround sound to work.

Display 1 via displayport
Display 2 via thunderbolt 3
Display 3 via HDMI connected to an AVR -there isn't an actual display so whatever opens or moves to this monitor is lost.I want to have it where Windows are not allowed to move or open on this monitor and if they do move them to the primary display or just prevent them.

I forgot to add can you add an option to prevent the mouse from moving onto the display you specify? Sometimes I end u mousing onto the phantom display so I have to move it to the very corner

There isn't currently a way to prevent the mouse from moving there, but you can prevent applications from opening there. Is the monitor ID for that monitor 3?

Hi, a few years past this question. But have a similar requirement. Prevent apps, browser, folders from opening in auxilary display.

I addition I would like to be able to mouse in to and click links or copy text from auxilary display but not be able to drag folders or other programs in to auxilary displays.

Essentially only those programs permitted are allowed to open or occupy their designated displays.
