I updated to Windows 8.1 Pro Preview and a some features are not working (for example switch main monitor), this is a known issue?

Error when changing main monitor:
"An error has occurred while applying your new Monitor configuration.
Please check your settings and try again.
Error: Failed to Apply in ApplySettings. [87]"

I tried also with the lastest beta version.

I've updated to 8.1 and it seems to be working ok for me. Are you using a Monitor Profile that was previously saved? Or are you just using the "Set as Primary" button in the Monitor Configuration window?

I had updated to 8.1 as well.

It was working for me but suddenly I am having the same problem with this program installed and with out it.

You try to click on set primary monitor and it changes immediately.

I tried doing a system restore but the issue still continues.

Are you able to change the primary monitor using the built-in Windows Screen Resolution settings? (Right-click the desktop, choose Screen Resolution)

I'm using DF Pro on Steam v5.1 and having this problem too. The primary display can be changed by Windows without any issues. DF is also showing both my displays as \\.\DISPLAYx@Unknown, Windows has the correct LCD QHD and Samsung. In DF the monitor has the correct resolution of 2560x1440, but my TV shows 1536x864 instead of 1920x1080. This happens when using an old or new profile, and when just clicking set as primary.

@Nathan: This may be due to a bug in 5.1 related to the per-screen DPI scaling in Windows 8.1. It should be all fixed up in the latest 5.1.1 Beta version, available here: http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/.

Thanks!
