I have been using Display Fusion for a very long time it is a very good program.
With my Full HD monitors I never had any problems with the desktop background.
When I bought a 2k monitor the problem started.
I set up a Silde show that should display the same image on every monitor.
On the primary 2K monitors the picture always looks very good, but on the second Full HD monitor the picture looks shifted.
and the aspect ratio doesn't match anymore.
If I change the aspect ratio in the Nvidia graphics card driver and then reset the image to the second monitor, too.
When I restart the computer the image is moved again and doesn't look good on the second monitor.
What can I do about it?

My log file can be found in the attachment.
If I change the resolution of both monitors to FullHD, the image is not shifted.
I hope you can change that to work with 2k and FullHD.

Thanks! Could you send me a screenshot of the full desktop when it's set to 2K so I can see what it looks like, and another one when it's set to 1080?

On the left side of the picture is the 2K resolution and on the right side you can see the 1k resolution and the shift.
The image should look the same on both sides.

Thanks, that's interesting! If you open the DisplayFusion Wallpaper window, does it look correct in the previews there?

If you only adjust the aspect ratio in the Nvidia driver, the picture looks the same on all monitors until the next restart.

Ok, interesting! Could you try navigating to this folder in File Explorer and deleting the "TranscodedWallpaper" file, then see if this issue still happens on the next reboot?

Ok thanks, another question. If you change the screen resolution and change it back, does that fix it as well?

in fact if I make the resolution smaller and set it back to FullHD then the BIld will fit again.

I have updated to the version DisplayFusion 9.6.1.
Unfortunately the problem still exists and I have to change the resolution after every reboot.

I also wish you a happy new year!

i have installed the new beta version DisplayFusion 9.6.2 Beta 1 and the problem is unchanged.

I wanted to give this as a feedback because in the changelog in the direction Monitor Wallpaper you could find something.

Happy new year to you as well! We haven't found a solution to this yet as we're still not able to replicate the issue here :(

I'm keeping this open on my list, and will update when I have more news.

Thanks!

Quick question, does this happen after a full restart of the computer? Or just when the computer wakes from sleep mode?

This happens after a complete restart of the computer.
And only if the primary monitor is set to 2k resolution.

Ok, thanks! I'll keep testing and will keep you updated if/when we're able to reproduce it and find a solution.
