I was thinking this function could be implemented, if the cursor is a the top border of a monitor for X seconds (if set to zero, the jump immediately), DF could use a ratio of the screen position (i.e. 68% from left corner to the right) to make the mouse jump to the bottom border of the second monitor, with the same ratio, and vice-versa, this way it could work for monitors with different resolutions.
Just an idea....

Keith, thank you so much for pointing that out, was out of town, and just came back. I was braking my head with the side movement of the mouse. I did not know this was an adjustment that could be made in windows, and it was already available (as well for DF). Thank you so much.
No problem, glad to hear that worked for you!

Keith,
Thank you for clearing up my problem with your comment. Did not know about moving the two monitor icons in the same configuration on my desk. This fixed my problem of moving the pointer to the right to place the pointer on a second monitor, located on the left. This was real frustrating. BAM!
Awesome, glad to hear it!

WOrked for me as well, but a quick question: When moving my mouse up or down to/from one monitor to the other, I need got a "running start" to avoid getting it stuck at the top or bottom of the monitor I am moveing from. Any ideas? It is very smooth when configured side by side, but top to bottom it seems to catch on the edge...
@Mark: On the Settings > Mouse Management tab, try enabling the "Prevent mouse cursor from sticking in Sticky Corners" option.

Thanks Keith, but alas, I am on Windows 10.
That option should be available on Windows 10 as well.
