Hello, not sure if this is mentioned, but I'm kind of in a hurry at the moment so I'll give it a go.

Is there a function/titlebar button to move a certain window to monitor 3 already? I'm using a PC-PC-TV setup, and when I have friends over and I want to show them, I have to press the "move to previous/next monitor" key depending on where the window is at to make it pop up on the TV.

So, I would like an option that does "move to monitor 3 (my TV)". I read something about it in the BETA chagelog but I never found it, unless I totally misunderstood the whole concept here.

Anyway, if it's there, please show me where, if not, could you put it on your list :)? Titlebar AND hotkey would be a dream coming true.

You can find the beta versions here:

You will need to have DisplayFusion Pro to create a custom HotKey that can move a window to a specific monitor.

I'm always running the latest BETA, point was I wanted a titlebar button for this function, not only a hotkey. I might have failed to make this clear though.

And of course I'm using Pro :)

You need to create a HotKey first, just don't assign any keys to it. Then you can use that HotKey as a TitleBar Button. :)

OOooooh. You should probably make that a little more clear. Totally missed that they're linked. Thanks :)

I'll add a note to the HotKeys window, you're not the first person who has missed that. :)

Jon,

I missed it at first. Perhaps you could add a note to the Edit TitleBar Button dialog? "For Move to Monitor #x, please add a hot-key first."

There are quite a few things that aren't there by default, that require a HotKey first. I haven't thought of a good way to let people know about all the functions though. A note is a good idea, but it doesn't cover everything unfortunately. :(

Suggestion: :-)

Add "Move To Monitor #X" item to the TitleBar Button Action combo box. Add a handler for the combo box to handle combo box updated notification. Check for selection of this specific item. Display an dialog that states, "To define a specific move to monitor definition, you must first create a hot key for it." When the user dismisses the dialog, change the combo box to another item.

Excellent idea, I'll see what I can work out. :)
