Hey everyone. I didn't really know where to ask this question but I was sure display fusion users would know.

I'm currently on an i7 2820 with a GTX 680 and having my two external monitors along with my laptops monitors running games, video, and browers on three seperate monitors sometimes hinders my framerate in games. Thus when I'm playing games which are extremely graphically demanding, I unplug my external monitors to maximize FPS.

My question is if there is a way to disconnect a monitor without actually unplugging it. Is this a function display fusion has, built into windows, etc?

Thank you!

The only possible solution that I can think of would be to try to just mirror your desktop instead of unplugging it to see if that helps.
I don't know of any settings in Windows or DF that would accommodate your needs.

You can just disable the monitors using the DisplayFusion Monitor Configuration. You can then also save that as a Monitor Profile, so that you can easily switch to it when you want to game :)

Please see the following guide for details on working with Monitor Profiles: http://www.displayfusion.com/KB/MonitorProfiles/

Hope that helps!
